A little reminder :) Everyone has his suffering, some suffer too much while others too little

Today we live in such a modern society whereby no matter how much we possess, we are always in search of more and more. As  if our quench for materialistic things is never ending. We are all worried about our little being that sometimes we fail to see that around our vicinity there are people who are suffering and sometimes they lack mere things that we do not even appreciate.

Our mind and hearts are infested by a disease called ungratefulness. Lets us consider daily facts of our life. Our parents always put our needs first, always before them but we always have something to rebuke them. Why so? It is as if we have sold our integrity. Maybe we have to slow down and start open our eyes to things surrounding us. We need to start be generous and kind.
In order to be kind, we have to pay attention to what is happening around us.  As we notice more things and help others, we get a glimpse of other ways of looking at things.  A broader perspective helps us to keep things in context.

Generosity is defined as the willingness to give freely.Generosity and kindness covers such a vast field, and is such an ocean of a subject, that to cover all of its details is an almost impossible task. Generosity and kindness doesn't only mean that you give when you still gain or retain, but in fact means to give when you yourself hardly have anything.

Our worldly possessions are bounties from God. Everything originates from God and everything will return to Him, thus, it is logical to behave as if that which we possess is merely a loan, something we are obligated to preserve, protect and ultimately share.

However, being generous does not only mean giving freely from what you have in abundance. It can be as simple as a smile, helping an elderly person with their groceries or removing objects from the road or path.Generosity does not lie in giving away something that is no longer useful but in giving freely from the things we love or need. It involves everything we can do for others with our time, actions and good  deeds

We have to start to think of others as we think of ourself. We need to be selfless that is we must help other with complete satisfaction and cheerful faces. That will be soothing to both the one who is helping out and the one who is being helped. We must develop that urge that we have to strive to do what ever we can do to lend a helping hand.

We have to be constructive and beneficial members of our society. Instead of criticizing and ignoring evils of our society we have to come forward and start collaborating to make a better place for everyone to enjoy a good living.

When you are kind to others, the impact of your action doesn't stop there.  Many times the recipient of your kindness and others who see or hear about your kindness are inspired to be kinder.  The ripples of kindness are truly endless.
